Piazza Umberto Merlin
Rovigo - 45100
The cozy square stands in the space once occupied by the Jewish ghetto, which was permanently demolished in 1930. The square appears as a sort of open garden, with gravel paths, simple concrete benches, flower beds, and large trees surrounding the central fountain. Better known to the citizens as Piazza di Roma, it changed its name when it was dedicated to Senator Umberto Merlin, founder of the People's Party.
