Palazzo Venezze
C.so del Popolo, 241 , Rovigo - 45100
Commissioned by Count Stefano Venezze in 1715, it was designed by Agostino Ghirotti. The elegant main façade, which overlooks Via Cavour, is characterized by the presence of two large arched portals, the upper one decorated with a slightly projecting marble balustrade that is repeated under all the windows of the main floor. A serrated frame flows up, under the roof, topped by two interesting cusps. The back, which now faces the Corso del Popolo, once on the banks of the Adigetto, has two projecting wings that frame the courtyard. Today Palazzo Venezze houses the State Conservatory of Music "Francesco Venezze".
