The Burchiello was a typical Venetian boat for passenger transport, equipped with a large wooden cabin, with three or four balconies, finely worked and decorated. The Burchiello was used by the wealthiest Venetian classes to reach from the city their villas in the countryside.
As in the past, the Burchiello, as a regular tourist service, continues along the Riviera del Brenta; heir to ancient traditions, it slowly sails the waters of the Brenta, while the guides on board illustrate the history, culture and art witnessed by the Villas of the Brenta.
The mini-cruises take place aboard modern and comfortable boats, equipped with a cabin with comfortable sofas, panoramic decks that allow passengers maximum visibility, air conditioning, dining area and toilets.
The program includes the navigation from Padua to Venice (Padua, Stra, Dolo, Mira, Oriago, Malcontenta, Fusina, Venice) and the guided tour of some Venetian Villas, famous summer residences of the Venetian nobles of the 18th century, rich in frescoes.
An evocative mini-cruise that, crossing nine swivel bridges and five locks, real "water lifts", will allow you to go down or up, the difference in water level of 10 meters existing between Padua and Venice, ending the journey in Venice in the fantastic marble scenery of the Basin of San Marco.
