Edifici Liberty a Recoaro Terme

At the end of the 19th century, Recoaro became one of the most important thermal centers in Italy and acquired the characteristic features of a "Ville d'eau" with its Art Nouveau buildings. This is a peculiarity, as there are not many examples of Art Nouveau in mountain locations (whose tourist development has emerged in the second half of the 20th century with the boom of mass tourism and the construction of ski facilities). In recent years, the architectural heritage of Recoaro has undergone significant restoration efforts, with the supervision of the Municipality and a careful study of the originals.
