Malga Sunio is located in the southern part of the Seven Municipalities Plateau, in a hollow between Mount Sunio and Cima Fàvaro. Nearby the malga, the "Strada del Generale" stretches out, a significant connection built during the Great War, and the Sunio Tanks, used by the Italian troops on the front line for the supply of drinking water. Malga Sunio is a venue for summer pasturing.
