The waterfalls of Val Civetta, among the few present in the Province of Vicenza (another very popular waterfall is the "Montagna spaccata" in Recoaro), constitute a site of particular tourist charm. The Civetta stream descends from the Altopiano dei Fiorentini and flows into the Astico, of which it is the main tributary, just downstream of the town of Lastebasse, feeding it during dry periods. The presence of fish fauna is significant (brown trout, scazzone, rare specimens of marble trout) and important ichthyological activities are carried out in the Civetta.
