The Campogrosso Ring is a very loved and appreciated route; it goes around the Sengio Alto group (Monte Cornetto, Tre Apostoli, and Monte Baffelan), choosing whether to go from the Venetian side and return from the Trentino side or vice versa.
In the first case, you park at Passo Pian delle Fugazze and walk towards the Ossario del Pasubio. From there, you take the Strada del Re, which leads to Passo Campogrosso, crossing the Ponte Avis as well. From there, you start the return, descending via the Strada delle 7 Fontane, entirely within the municipality of Vallarsa (TN), to return to Passo Pian delle Fugazze.
In the second case, the opposite is done: you park at Passo Campogrosso, descend to Passo Pian delle Fugazze via the Strada delle 7 Fontane, and return via the Ossario del Pasubio-Strada del Re route.
A total of about 10 kilometers that present no difficulties, suitable for families, bicycles, and groups.
How to get there:
Depending on the chosen direction of travel, there are two alternatives:
– Drive up to Passo Pian delle Fugazze and park the car; from there, walk towards Passo Campogrosso.
– From Recoaro Terme, drive up to Passo Campogrosso and walk towards Passo Pian delle Fugazze.
