There are no writings or documents from his time. It is believed that the nearby settlements (Colombara, Palazzo dei "Sucoi") arose near a water source. In 1896, during the excavation for the foundations of the parish church, the water passage that fed the fountain was found. To restore the water flow, tiles were placed one on top of the other. Near the church is the "Giassara." In winter, it was filled with snow, taken from the square in front of the church. The ice was retrieved through a door with a corridor that leads inside the "Giassara" (currently the entrance is located under the stage of the former cinema hall). The ice was used in the summer by people who suffered from trauma and for the sick. In 1997 and 1998, the Fountain was restored by the Alpine group of Mosson with the support of the Municipal Administration and was inaugurated on May 24, 1998.
