The Rope Bridge and the associated arrangement of the Road of the King, a work included in the broader context of the Va.Po.Re tourism development and trail improvement project, have allowed for the reopening of the Campogrosso Loop, which had become impossible due to the landslide that occurs right at the bridge, which had completely split the Road of the King.
The footbridge was indeed designed to bypass this problem with an elegant and modern solution.
The bridge is a structure built entirely of steel and has a length of 105 meters and a maximum height of 35 meters, equipped with anti-wind ropes to prevent oscillations.
The footbridge is dedicated to the Avis Section of Schio, which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2016.
It is a very popular attraction among visitors, who can enjoy a panoramic view of the Val Leogra and the surrounding mountains of Sengio Alto from the bridge. Suitable for both adults and children.
How to get there:
Drive up to the Passo Pian delle Fugazze and turn left towards the Ossario del Pasubio. Park the car in one of the parking areas and walk along the Road of the King towards Passo Campogrosso. From there, it is a comfortable 30-minute walk to reach the Bridge.
