Oratorio della Santissima Concezione o Chiesetta del Cristo

In the place where a first Franciscan chapel was built in the first half of the 1200s, today stands the Oratory of the Most Holy Conception, better known in the city as the Church of the Christ. A sacred building from the 15th century, sober and elegant, it features an interior with three naves, divided by Doric columns and topped by a wooden truss ceiling, as well as a façade completely redone in 1888 according to the design of the Rodigino architect Raffaele Cattaneo. Particularly noteworthy are the precious 18th-century altar and a fragment of fresco depicting the Virgin with Child.
