Duomo di San Fidenzio

The current Parish Church, built from 1888, stands where an ancient Romanesque Church also dedicated to San Fidenzio once stood. This building, now lost and known only through a few pictures dating back to that time, was a monument with an highest historical and artistic value: it boasted frescoes from the Giotto School and a massive bell tower that joined the Church structure through a loggia with arches.
Inside, today, the Parish Church preserves part of the furnishings of the previous site of worship.
Since the 19th March 2019, with an Episcopal Decree, the Church has been elevated to the dignity of Cathedral.
