A walk in the historic park of the Villa di Maser to learn to observe the landscape with a different perspective, recognizing the essences and wild herbs that grow around the estate.
Leading the journey is Chiara Schirato, a pharmacist specializing in Food Sciences and an expert in herbal medicine and wild food foraging. The walk begins at the secret garden of the Ninfeo, among decorations inspired by the natural world, fruits, and vegetables, and then ventures into the green spaces that accompany the hill of the Villa.
During the walk, participants learn to observe and recognize wild herbs and essences, delving into their characteristics and alimentary, health, herbal, and nutritional properties. The appointment is particularly dedicated to wild seeds and roots, following the natural changes of the plants and their properties throughout the seasons.
The walk concludes in the stable courtyard, where a wild snack prepared using the essences collected during the walk is provided. Thus, the experience combines botanical observation, traditional knowledge, and the culinary use of wild plants.
