The history of the oratory of S. Maria del Rosario di Paolino goes hand in hand with that of Villa Corner, now Bellettato. It is already mentioned in 1552, when Count Marcantonio Cornaro lived in the villa and had, among his assets, a private oratory.
The complex is located near Canalbianco, in the southernmost part of the municipality of Fratta Polesine, and represents the constructive effort of the Corner family along Canalbianco, completed by a second “Cà Cornera” in the Zaffarda area, “La Palazzina” in the Cà Moro di S.Bellino location, and in Canda, Villa “Nani Mocenigo.”
The religious service at the oratory of the villa has been confirmed since 1765 with a resident priest, whose maintenance was provided by the Nobili Corner.
In 1842, it changed ownership, passing to the Crestani and then to the Tasso brothers, with whom it entered a phase of abandonment. Only with the new owner Leopoldo Maragno, in 1885, did the worship of the B.V. del Rosario return to the oratory, benefiting the local inhabitants. In 1956, the children ceded the oratory to the Bishop of Adria and Rovigo for the establishment of a new parish.
