Located in Montebelluna within the Villa Correr Pisani complex, the MeVe - Venetian Memorial of the Great War - is an interactive and multimedia space dedicated to the conflicts and events that have marked the last century of our history, starting from World War I. With its 2,300 square meters of exhibition space, it offers a new way of looking at the twentieth century in relation to the landscapes, the apparatuses, the women and men who were its protagonists, with the goal of questioning our present with greater awareness.
The experience at MeVe is accessible to all types of audiences. The objects are part of an installation where the digital component, immersive installations, video documentation, and sound design allow for a unique, profound, and ever-changing experience. It is also a permanent laboratory for civic education, prompting reflection on the legacy of a conflict that forever changed the history and behavior of millions of people.
The MeVe is a partnered tourist Info Point.
