Located in the historic center of Bassano del Grappa, the Library Palazzo Roberti is an important landmark for the city and the surrounding area.
Opened in 1998, the establishment has found its ideal home in a seventeenth-century noble building, owned by the Manfrotto family who still manages the business located within it, an almost unique example in Italy of a large independent library. The elegant architectural context is spread over three floors, two of which - the ground floor and the mezzanine - are intended for the exhibition and the sale of books.
The Piano Nobile, however, in addition to some rooms, has a living room whose restoration has brought light to the beautiful frescoes that decorate the walls. There are meetings with the author, conferences, classical music concerts, photography exhibitions, which are an integral part of the lively activity of the library. The desire to present itself as a place for meeting and discussion for the public, offering a welcoming environment in which to choose their readings, has prompted the library to equip itself with a wide range of titles ranging in all fields of publishing.
To facilitate the customer, the assortment has been organized into departments and divided into thematic areas, on which oversees the professionalism of each manager, constantly available to the user.
