The name Rozzampia derives from the wide canal dug in 1276 to lead the waters of the Astico to Villaverla. The Vicentine family Porto, who had vast estates in the area, built a small church in 1604 which, following the consecration of its daughters, was passed to the Dimesse of Thiene.
The presbytery was enlarged and a marble altar added in 1646, the church was provided with a chaplain who celebrated mass daily and taught catechism. Despite the Napoleonic suppression of religious congregations, liturgical activities continued in the church of Rozzampia.
Later passed to the Congregation of Charity of Thiene, they left its use to the local inhabitants. The church was extended in 1913, and once ceded to the fabric of Thiene, it was provided with a baptismal font in 1924. With the prospect of becoming a curacy, the first stone of a new sacred building was laid in 1931. In fact, the following year, autonomy was achieved, and in 1943 it became a parish, dedicated two decades later to Our Lady of the Snow. In 1935 the bell tower was built and the church was equipped with a Serassi organ, recently restored. The fresco painted on the apse of the parish church of Rozzampia bears the signature of the artist Galliano Migliolaro. Created in 1943 and depicting the Trinity, while below are represented Saint Liber Pope, Saint Peter, Saint John the Evangelist, Saint John Damiani, Saint Bernard, Saint Augustine, Saint Thomas, and Saint Cyril. The fresco depicting the Baptism of Jesus Christ, located in the first chapel of the left nave, was executed in collaboration with his brother Armando, also in 1943.
