The main facade of Palazzo Verlato Putin is visible from afar, coming from Vicenza, and extends above the smaller buildings that were later placed around it.
The villa inside still retains enchanting and spacious rooms, all adorned with rich fresco decorations. The central hall evokes some of the most significant episodes of the life of Giovanni Verla, the patriarch of the family, and the scenes depicted are illustrated by a Latin inscription placed above each panel.
The author of this room appears to have been Girolamo Pisani, while the decoration of the adjacent left room, featuring scenes of triumphs, could be attributed to Giovanni Battista Maganza, father of the more famous Alessandro. The decorations with allegories of the seasons and mythological figures in a smaller room seem to be by an unknown author from the late sixteenth century, while the monochrome figures of cyclopes in the room to the right of the central one appear to be attributed to yet another hand.
