It is a magnificent Gothic-style country residence and like the Castle it recalls the Venetian typology found in its architectural elements, including the refined three-light window on the upper floor, a small architectural gem. Three imposing Gothic arches characterize the facade at ground level, once embellished with frescoes. The painted frieze between the small windows of the attic is also particularly elegant, where decorative elements alternate with noble coats of arms, creating a particularly ornamental effect. The windows of the rear facade and the side show instead the rounded forms typical of the early Renaissance.
A historic residence of the Counts Thiene, the villa, after being owned by the Cornaggia and Mangilli families, is now the property of the Municipality, and in the Cornaggia Palace, that is, the long left wing built at the end of the 19th century, is located the Civic Library.
