Palazzo Municipale
Campo Marconi 108 , Chioggia - 30015
It was built during the Habsburg domination, between 1839 and 1847, on the ruins of the old medieval praetorian palace, destroyed by a fire in 1817. The bas-relief placed on the central tympanum depicts the emblem of the city of Chioggia in the center, the rampant lion, with a trident and a spade on the sides, symbol of the main economic activities of the community: fishing in Chioggia and horticulture in Sottomarina.
