The naturalistic collections are historical collections, from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and recent collections the result of donations and direct acquisition of the Museum.
Most of the finds of zoology and botany have close reference with the regional and Italian territory next to a reduced representation of European and exotic samples. The mineralogical and geo-palaeontological collections present both local and from all over the world with the aim of exposing the rich geodiversity that characterizes our planet.
The Naturalistics Section presents a path of Earth Sciences with themes of astronomy, mineralogy and geology with particular reference to the geology of the territory and a path of Life Sciences that exposes the different groups of living beings according to a systematic and ecological key reading.
