At the heart of the old town centre, the right bank of the Soligo River gives life to one of the most picturesque corners of Pieve di Soligo: Borgo Stolfi. In ancient times, this street was home to mills and manufacturing buildings that harnessed the energy of water, such as the ancient Roggia, still visible today (and under restoration) at the corner of the main road and the bridge. On the walls of the buildings in front of it, stone steles and carvings are clearly visible, commemorating the water level reached by several floods of the Soligo, a torrential river that still today sees sudden increases in its water flow in the event of heavy rainfall.
