Built in 1855, the small Christian temple was built to provide accommodation for the wooden Passion Cross, which had been on the site since time immemorial.
The oratory houses a valuable fresco by Barnabas Lava depicting the Holy Family and, in the background, the castle of Collalto, as it appeared before the wartime devastation of World War I.
Passed to the Stefanelli family, it was also the family tomb.
