Malga Carriola

Malga Carriola is located in the southern part of the Seven Municipalities Plateau, near the Bar Alpino Refuge in the area of "Pozza del Favero". The malga features a small building next to the main structure made using the "Blockbau" technique, which recalls the characteristics of the ancient malgas of the area. Malga Carriola was the headquarters of the Italian command during the Austrian offensive dated May 15 – June 27, 1916 during World War I. This fact is remembered by a marble plaque located on the main façade. Malga Carriola offers dining services and produces and sells malga products, as well as organizing events.
