The Teodolinda Mill was built, according to the documents in our possession, in 1767.
The family history of this building begins with the first assistant of the parish priest, namely the apprentice, who was employed in the milling work and received the mill as an inheritance.
In the following two hundred years, the little mill was passed down from mother to daughter. Wars and diseases meant that the management of the mill was carried on by the women of the family, and indeed, the name "Teodolinda Mill" is in honor of one of those women.
The current owner is a direct descendant and granddaughter of the miller Teodolinda, who stubbornly managed and worked hard at the mill.
The mill's activity was kept alive until the 1980s, but just a few years of inactivity were enough for the external wheels to deteriorate until their complete destruction. The mill has been recently restored, allowing for the hydraulic wheels to be restored, faithfully reconstructing them based on the originals.
