It was built, with three naves, between 1906 and 1909 and is dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
There is a statue of St. Benedict, in memory of the Benedictines of Villanova, while on the altar dedicated to St. John the Baptist is a canvas of the "Nativity" of the saint, a work from the Venetian school of Titian.
Additionally, near the sacristy, there is a chapel with a baroque altar made of marble dedicated to Our Lady of Health, whose image is carried in procession on August 15 and during the Feast of the Holy Rosary.
