Among the sacred buildings of greater interest in Valdagno, we must remember the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine, located on Via Carmini. The sacred building is situated in the historic town center. The façade is gabled, very simple in its architectural lines: the only decorative elements are an arch, positioned centrally, and a few horizontal decorative elements. Two lateral wings, set back from the body on which the central arch is situated, characterize the front. The lunette windows on the lateral wings echo the decorative motif of the arch, creating continuity and uniformity in the decorative scheme. One accesses the church by walking through a short corridor. The first space encountered upon entering is octagonal in shape; the geometric design of the octagon is also echoed by the polychrome marble slabs on the floor. To the left, it is possible to see the Pietà, a work by Arrigo Minerbi.
