The British Cemetery is located on the north side of the municipal cemetery of Montecchio Precalcino. It is divided into 10 small blocks, each with 4 rows. In the northwest corner, one block contains the graves of Austrian prisoners of war, and at the northwest end, the grave of an Indian prisoner. Outside, to the north, there are the graves of four American soldiers and a second Austrian block. The English section is situated on the slope of a hill overlooking the Astico River and the Alps. The war altar and the cross rise on terraces on the north side of the cemetery.
Historically significant is the visit of King George V of England accompanied by his consort, Queen Mary, on May 13, 1923. On April 1, 20217, Prince Charles of England paid tribute at the British War Cemetery of Montecchio Precalcino, where 439 Commonwealth dead rest.
