It organises and hosts exhibitions, meetings, cinemas and shows and offers a wide range of services related to the inalienable culture of technological innovation, which are divided into at least two levels 1) the creation of a wide and punctual offer of basic acculturation, fostered both by courses and workshops aimed at different audiences in terms of age, interests, level of preparation, and by an ‘immediate and free accessibility to the tools, open to constant and friendly use; 2) a strong project component, with coordinated initiatives of research, monitoring, in-depth study on the relationship between artistic languages and new technologies.
The Cultural Centre has been the subject of an urban redevelopment project that has led to the construction of a new 1,200-seat Img Cinemas multiplex cinema, with six theatres and all the latest technologies available (including laser projection and multidimensional sound), as well as a new large hall on the ground floor, with two box offices, cafeteria, book shop, a redevelopment that will involve a series of new bars and restaurants in the outdoor spaces overlooking the square.
