Located in the historic center of Dolo, the “Squero” was the ancient shipyard where boats were repaired, but it was also a refuge for boats passing along the Naviglio Brenta.
Its structure still consists of a gabled roof with trusses, supported by ten brick pillars.
The ancient structures connected to the River Port were characterized by the Squero and numerous cafés, inns, and shops, around which city life thrived.
