The complex of Villa Goetzen is located in Dolo near the reunion of the two branches of the Naviglio Brenta. The eighteenth-century building was originally owned by the Venier, a noble Venetian family and was also depicted by Costa in one of his engravings. Compared to the one depicted in the engravings, paazzo underwent changes probably made in the mid-eighteenth century.
Villa Goetzen is a Venetian Villa of the eighteenth century, once home to the ancient Casinò Venier. The building has been completely renovated and transformed by the Minchio Family into a rfefined 3-star hotel and an elegant restaurant where the traditional fish cuisine of the Riviera del Brenta meets creativity and innovation. Indeed, the results are dishes that are as bautiful to the eye as they are exceptional on the palate.
The atmosphere is welcoming, intimate and elegant at the same time, both in the internal rooms as in the outdoor spaces, such as the garden and the pier overlooking the Brenta River.
