The Villa, after being owned by the Rigoni, Angeli, and Mocenigo families, experienced a period of decline in the early 20th century due to wartime events, but was later restored by Montedison and is currently owned by the Province of Venice. It served as a high school until the 1990s. It now houses the Provincial Directorate of EnAIP Veneto, a professional training organization.
The Villa features two twin facades, one overlooking the park and the other facing the river, which extend in length: the architectural design is based on perfect symmetry of the parts, and the decoration of both facades is identical.
Inside, noteworthy are a large hall located in the central part of the noble floor and the modern frescoes by Giuseppe Spolaor.
The remaining buildings of the complex, which along with the villa described above total 2,120 square meters of surface area, include an attached private chapel and the park, which, although originally designed according to the principles of the Italian garden, now reflects 18th-century modifications with a predominantly romantic taste.
