Summer residence of the Badoer family from the 18th century in Sambruson di Dolo, which until 1945 hosted Carlo De Chantal. The baron had a fixation: to recover the treasure of the monks who occupied the monastery that was built near the Badoer palace in centuries past.
The treasure was never found, but in return, the deep hole dug in the center of the park has become a pleasant lake surrounded by a walk.
Moreover, the villa is also home to the Museum of the Villano, with a collection of over 20,000 ancient tools that tell the story of trades and crafts of the past. A fascinating display of rural tools, such as those of farmers and woodcutters, as well as various kitchen utensils, cellar tools, carts, and carriages.
