Villa Velluti
Via E. Tito, 16 , Dolo (VE) - 30031
Villa Velluti located in Sambruson, was the building in which the famous sopranist from the Marches Giovan Battista Velluti (1780-1861) chose to spend the last years of his life, conquered by the charm of the Riviera and the slow flow of the Naviglio. To embellish the residence and celebrate the art that made him famous, he wanted statues depicting players and musical instruments to crown the roof. In the past, the villa housed a music center named after Mimì Velluti. The typology of the villa is eighteenth-century and in the southern part the complex has undergone an extension of the service buildings made necessary for the economic activity carried out in the past years by the previous owners. An oratory also stands in the park.
