Villa Bon is a rarity as it has a double façade also facing the garden. The Burchiello, a large, well-equipped boat equipped with every comfort, pulled on the towpaths by horses or oxen, passed on the canal, even performing a real daily connection service between Venice and Padua. Located on the right bank of the Brenta canal, it is a sixteenth-century building with two facades, both of which can be used with reciprocal references.
At the cost of breaking the custom that wanted the main facade facing the river, it was chosen to offer the large garden the most important side of the house, nevertheless the facade along the watercourse is marked by ashlar pilasters that reappear on the ground floor of the facade facing the park and adorned with triangular crowning tympanums adopted on both elevations.
Inside, on the walls of the corridor that extends to the right of the entrance hall there are some gray chiaroscuro figures depicting the four seasons, attributed to Gian Domenico Tiepolo. Other scholars believe it to be the work of the Paduan Costantino Cedini. All the rooms, embellished with polychrome stuccoes and marmorino paintings, respect the classic arrangement of the Venetian palace with a central hall and four rooms symmetrically arranged two on each side.
