Villa Roberti, an evocative residence of the Venetian Renaissance, is a precious country residence commissioned by Count Girolamo to celebrate the prestige of the rich Roberti family of bankers and to make a wedding gift to his nephew Francesco. The project entrusted to the architect Andrea da Valle and the frescoes by G.B. Zelotti and P. Veronese (called by Palladio to decorate some of his famous residences: the Emo and Barbaro Villas), make Villa Roberti the prototype of the Venetian country villa, a model to be imitated and a place still suspended in time, in which to breathe in all the charm of the history and art of the Veneto.
