Exhibition hall of Roman artifacts at the St. Anthony Multipurpose Center.
In Roman times what is now the Municipality of Arzergrande was part of the jurisdiction of the city of Padua, then called Patavium. This was a thriving and large “municipium” that governed a vast area, called “ager”, extending from the prealpine belt to the southern part of the Venetian Lagoon. The archaeological finds located in the “Portus Aedro” Exhibition Hall can be attributed to the Roman Age.
