"Going slow" by boat, by candlelight, along the Brenta Riviera.
"Artemartours Navigazione" wants to bring attention back to the traditions and ancient rituals of our places, recreating both on the boat and in the villa the atmosphere of the time thanks to the soft light of the lanterns that illuminated the nights in the burci (typical boats); mysteries related to the noble patricians who lived in the historic residences located along the Naviglio will then be revealed. An opportunity to experience emotions and suggestions of the past and listen to stories and anecdotes of river navigation.
Meeting point at the pier in front of Villa Foscarini Rossi in Stra and the war memorial (Via Doge Pisani, 1, 30039 Stra VE)
We will sail along the Riviera del Brenta to the village of Dolo admiring numerous villas, former summer residences of Venetian nobility. The guide will illustrate the path, but you will also hear tales of the past, stories, anecdotes of river navigation.
At the end of the day we will return to the starting point sailing by lantern light like the boatmen in the burci did in the past.
An aperitif will be served on board with Prosecco and traditional Venetian cicchetti.
Disembarkation is scheduled at the same dock where you embarked.
