Along the road leading to the hamlet of Corte one can admire Villa Bragato with its beautiful guest quarters, originally belonging to the same complex and now housing administrative offices.
The Villa housed a Michelin-starred seafood restaurant for some years.
The barchessa is composed of two distinct contiguous blocks, the eastern one being the oldest, with three arches, representing the permanence of a typical structure related to Benedictine reclamation, as others are found in the Lower Po Valley. An interesting element is the barrel vault of one of the rooms, probably used as a cellar or at any rate as a service room.
The western part, consisting of the other seven arches, is more architecturally characterized with the insertion of pilasters of Ionic order that give the arcade a classical flavor. The external appearance of the complex is typical of outbuildings: entirely porticoed, with arches interspersed with pilasters and denticulated cornice.
The building is the result of several interventions, which started with the demolition of a pre-existing building near the east part of the barchessa, dating from the 15th century, which was followed by the construction of the 17th-century west part.
The special value of the building is especially the frescoes of the West part, created in close succession with respect to the building, which decorate the interior walls and the portico with faux architecture of fluted columns with rich composite capitals and high cornices, garlands and scrolls, medallions with landscapes, mythological and historical figures.
