IAT Legnago - Pianura dei Dogi

To cope with a constantly growing tourist presence in recent years, but above all to enable the municipalities and economic operators of the Veronese plain to better face the hospitality challenges of the next decade (linked, for example, to the confluence on the territory of the important cycling routes of the 'Treviso-Ostiglia' and the 'Ciclopista del Sole'), the municipal administration of Legnago, in agreement with the Province of Verona, planned in 2011 the opening of an IAT office (Information and Tourist Reception) .

The IAT office, hosted and managed by the Fioroni Foundation, is able to offer up-to-date information (tourist, cultural, environmental, food and wine) relating to the range of municipalities belonging to the 'lower Veronese plain' area, adjacent to the geo-environmental context of the Great Veronese Valleys.

The opening of an IAT tourist reception point in the historic premises of Palazzo Fioroni responded to a dual purpose:

a) use the centrality of the Fioroni Foundation in the city of Legnago, able to guarantee, with its privileged location, ease of access and identification;

b) guaranteeing a 'strong' connection between IAT tourist information and the cultural soul of a territory, in this case favored by the possibility of inserting the reception point in a prestigious museum context, capable of welcoming the visitor by offering an overview of the secular history of the Veronese plain.
