On August 12, 2026, there will be a special day:
A very rare almost total solar eclipse in Italy at sunset, and after sunset, the peak evening of the shooting stars of San Lorenzo. A unique coincidence of celestial events that we will experience together in the places of the Po Delta.
Starting by bike from Barricata, we will follow the routes of the Delta until we reach Sacca degli Scardovari, where we will see the solar crescent setting in the waters of the lagoon.
Back at the starting point, we will enjoy a social moment with a nice enhanced aperitif, before moving on foot to the very nearby Conchiglie beach where we can best admire the spectacle of the Milky Way and the shooting stars of San Lorenzo on the night of the peak frequency of the phenomenon.
