At the intersection of Ansedisio Street and San Franceco Street you will encounter a small church that is striking in its fascinating simplicity. It will leave you speechless to enter and admire the nave ceiling consisting of 44 wooden panels, painted by an early 17th-century Venetian painter, illustrating stories from the life of Jesus.
Apparently, the first Franciscan testimony in this place dates back to the years when St. Francis preached in Padua territory, between 1225 and 1250.
