On the southern side, at the entrance to the fish market, is a fine historiated portal, the Portale a Prisca by Amleto Sartori (1940) donated in 1946 by Alfredo Bordin. The panels narrate the story of Prisca, the little girl seen at the centre of architrave, for whom we can imagine a life full of light, parties, music and joy. In a subtle game played out through the changing masks of various epochs, the sacredness of human life is represented.
