This church was built in 1885 on the remains of an older one, dating back to 1489, although there are documents that refer to a church prior to the year 1000.
Very impressive is the bell tower, which still preserves the structural lines of Romanesque architecture from the 11th century, such as the small vaulted reliefs above the arches and the double windows of the bell chamber, adorned with Istrian stone columns.
