A romantic mini-cruise, among the Venetian Villas of the Brenta Riviera - from Padua to Venice - along the route of the ancient Venetian Burchiello of the 18th century among art, history and nature. The Burchiello was a typical Venetian passenger boat, with a large wooden cabin, with three or four balconies, finely worked and decorated. The Burchiello was used by the wealthiest Venetians to reach their villas in the countryside from the city.
As in the past, even today the Burchiello, as a grand touristic service, sails along the Brenta Riviera; heir to ancient traditions, it ploughs the waters of the Brenta with a slow pace, while the guides on board illustrate the history, culture and art witnessed by the Brenta Villas. The mini-cruises take place on board modern and comfortable boats, equipped with cabins with comfortable sofas, panoramic decks that allow passengers maximum visibility, air conditioning, refreshment area and toilets.
The programme includes navigation from Padua to Venice (Padua, Stra, Dolo, Mira, Oriago, Malcontenta, Fusina, Venice) and a guided tour of some Venetian Villas, famous summer residences of the Venetian nobility in the 18th century, rich in frescoes.
A suggestive mini-cruise that, crossing nine swing bridges and five locks, real "water lifts", will allow you to go down or up again, the difference in height of 10 metres between Padua and Venice, ending the trip in Venice in the fantastic marble scenery of St. Mark's Basin.
