Agriturismo Papaveri e Papere is located between Venice and Padua, 5 km from the Riviera del Brenta.
The Bottazzin family raises with ICEA certified organic farming methods poultry animals including the Paduan tufted hen (SLOW FOOD), pigs for the preparation of seasoned or fresh cold cuts of the agricultural tradition, sopresse, pancetta, salami. They also grow open field vegetables.
Guests have access to a large room and a wide garden with games and space for adults and children, it also has rooms with a bathroom.
The educational farm welcomes many students in the spring months by offering workshops for different ages and summer camps during the summer season.
In the kitchen the dishes are produced with food at zero-mile respecting the season, such as homemade pasta made with “Gentil Rosso” flour, and typical dishes (platter of cold cuts with cheeses and vegetables in oil, Paduan hen “in canevera”, chicken “in saor”, bronze drawn bigoli and pappardelle with duck sauce or vegetable sauces).
