The church, recently renovated, has been rebuilt four times on pre-existing foundations, the first of which dates back to the middle of the first millennium.
In the church a votive disc paleoveneto was found, now in the museum of Bassano.
Inside. remarkable are the apse remains and the baptismal font. At the foot of the entrance portal are visible the remains of a Lombard burial; the biabsidal plant of the Carolingian age was also brought to light .
Inside there are 16th century paintings attributable to different painters, among which there could be Titian the Younger.
