Inaugurated in 1987, on the thirtieth anniversary of the founding of the AVIS section in Schio.
Inside the park, we find four noteworthy works: the fountain, the Blood Donors mosaic, the bust of A. Fusinato, the bust of G. Garibaldi, and the Tree of Books.
The fountain, with its simple and majestic shapes, is a commemorative monument of the aqueduct that was planned to be built in Schio's piazza. The inscription carved in modern letters on the front of the fountain was dictated by the podestà: "SACRO PASUBIO SURGENS ROMAM AETERNAM CANTO". "Rising from the slopes of Mount Pasubio, sacred to the Fatherland, I sing through the ages the glory of immortal Rome".
The Donors mosaic depicts a donor with a covered face donating blood to a needy person, a work dedicated as a testimony "to all those who, regardless of affiliations, class, religion, race, or color, identify themselves in this act of love." The bust of Arnaldo Fusinato is dedicated to the poet born in Schio in 1817. In Schio, at Via Fusinato 31, near his birthplace, these words are inscribed: "ARNALDO FUSINATO / ILLUSTRIOUS POPULAR POET / PATRIOT / FREEDOM SOLDIER / HERE / WAS BORN ON THE 25TH OF NOVEMBER 1817 / THE CITIZENS / 1889." On the plaque at the base of the monument it is written:
"In the final years of the vigil / the Venetians / master and donor Carlo Lorenzetti / dedicated this marble / to the ancient unjust border / to tell the irredentists / Italy / 1912.
Virtue of kings / of fighters / of the people / unified all its children to the homeland / marking at the Brenner the just borders / 1915 - 1918.
The Municipality of Schio / placed here the gift/in memory of the ancient faith / which burns in the littorio / 1938 XVI° E. F. II° of the Empire.
