The Cimbra Culture Museum is located in Roana before reaching the main square, Santa Giustina, and was created to pass down and protect the ancient history of the people of the Seven Municipalities Plateau. In particular, it emphasizes the importance of the Cimbra language, an ancient dialect that has been influenced by many peoples such as Celts, Anglo-Saxons, Germans from Bavaria, and many others who colonized our Plateau in ancient times.
The museum consists of two floors: on the first floor, there are various ancient photographs placed in rectangular pavilions that depict the ancient history of the Plateau, particularly that of Roana, its bridge, and its people.
On the second floor, there are ancient tools once used: plows for agriculture, various instruments for cheese processing, looms for working wool and hemp, and many utensils that no longer exist.
Thanks to this museum, the creation of Cimbra culture notebooks, and various books, efforts are made to keep alive the language and customs of a time that would otherwise be lost.
