The baitina in Roana is a cozy restaurant recently renovated, family-run, offering its customers traditional, simple, and genuine dishes using local and zero-kilometer products.
The philosophy of the owners leads them to create good dishes by seeking high-quality products, those that are spontaneous and seasonal, such as mushrooms and wild herbs from the Plateau and vegetables from their own garden, which are cultivated and harvested with love.
All this love is also transferred to the prepared dishes, which thus take on the authentic flavors of the mountains and the area, combined with the best homemade products: fresh pasta, potato gnocchi, tasty sauces, jams, and fragrant desserts.
The most well-known specialties are: Appetizer with corn cream, fresh porcini mushrooms, and shavings of medium-aged Asiago cheese; homemade gnocchi with Rotzo potatoes, dandelion, and gorgonzola. Melted Asiago cheese with fresh polenta, local grilled salami, and mixed mushrooms.
