Antichi Lavatoi - Canove

The route starts from the elementary schools of Canove (blue building) walk about 150 mt. towards the center of the village, then cross the road and go left towards the houses Busi/Holla. At Km 0,6 (near the remains of an old ski lift) the road flatens up to the Busi houses (1100 m from the start).

At the junction, turn right on the asphalted road uphill and continue to the first old washbasins (Trögar in Cimbrian language); After a hundred meters continue keeping left past the pizzeria Al Fortino. Cross the main road and take Via Bettinadi.

At Km 1,9 (at the top of the ramp) keep right (towards the centre of Canove) until you meet the main road again at the Carabinieri Barracks of Canove (for those who want to about 2, 35 km there is a path with stone steps, where you can find other old washrooms “rèndela” and go up the same path.

Continue on the comfortable sidewalk to the left and head towards the village, until the roundabout of via Dante (km 2. 9). At the roundabout turn right into via Monte Lemerle and after about 200 meters you reach the starting point.

The tour is easy and circular, it is about 3 km long with a journey time equal to 1 hour, the difference in altitude up is 74 mt. while the one downhill is 77 mt.; the minimum altitude is 914 mt. ; the maximum is 988 mt. The site can be reached on foot; the recommended period is from March to November.
